DEC Türkiye/Syria Earthquake Appeal Follow-up Perception Survey

DEC Türkiye/Syria Earthquake Appeal Follow-up Perception Survey
Published
December 2024

Commissioned by the DEC, this follow-up perception survey builds on the real-time response review conducted during Phase 1 of the Turkiye/Syria Earthquake Appeal. Using the updated 2024 Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) framework, it tracks changes in affected people's perceptions of DEC assistance across Turkiye, North-West Syria, and Government of Syria regions, examining how Phase 2 incorporated feedback from the initial review and adapted activities to evolving community needs. The survey prioritised sampling the same activities included in the Phase 1 perception survey to enable longitudinal analysis over time. It covers participation and inclusion, timeliness and effectiveness, preparedness and resilience, do no harm, complaints and feedback mechanisms, coordination, and staff conduct, providing findings and recommendations across each of these areas.
