Core Humanitarian Standard Training of Trainer
Published
January - February 2025

This online Training of Trainers (ToT) on the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) was designed to strengthen the capacity of experienced practitioners to deliver high-quality CHS trainings across diverse contexts. Co-facilitated by certified CHS trainers Aya Yagan and Charlie Dalrymple, the course focused on equipping participants with the skills to design and facilitate both face-to-face and remote learning sessions grounded in the nine CHS commitments. Delivered over three weeks through interactive sessions and practical assignments, the training emphasised adult learning principles, contextualisation, and peer feedback, enabling participants to develop tailored session plans and enhance their facilitation practice in promoting quality and accountability in humanitarian action.
